Botanicals

Botanical and herbal products are often used for their health effects, with extracts of botanicals forming the foundation of many different formulas. Traditional medicinal systems including Traditional Chinese Medicine and Ayurveda relied on the powers of botanical extracts; while modern nutraceutical suppliers provide botanicals in a variety of forms including whole herb, dried powders, and extracts that may be whole extracts or standardized extracts using marker compounds to deliver desired components.
