CHESTER, N.Y.—Advantage Botanicals Co. LLC was certified organic by Quality Assurance International, San Diego, which allows the company to distribute organic products with the USDA National Organic Program seal.
Advantage Botanicals will be starting off with 50 organic products including alfalfa, cat's claw, eleuthro, garlic, licorice, Echinacea and valerian powders. The company will continue to handle nonorganic heat-and steam-treated products and specialty ingredients.
