KALAMAZOO, Mich.—Kalsec Inc., producer of spice and herb extracts, natural colors and antioxidants for the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries, has appointed Orkila as the exclusive distributor for its full line of quality, natural ingredients to the South African market.
Paul Filby, VP of international business at Kalsec, called Orkila a natural choice for Kalsec's South African distributor. "Orkila has vast experience, intimate market knowledge and an established sales operation across the South African food, personal care and nutraceutical industries."
Although founded in 2005, Orkila brought together more than 100 years of food ingredient industry experience when the former management team from Rhodia’s (formerly Rhône-Poulenc) International Affairs Division created Orkila via management buy out.
