Jiaherb Expands Facility and Debuts Website

PARSIPPANY, NJ—Jiaherb Inc. has expanded its manufacturing facility in China and launched a new U.S. website. The company, which  supplies more than 200 ingredients to the nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, food and cosmetic industries, is the largest herbal extract manufacturer from China. 

“In order to maintain our high quality standards and achieve higher rates of efficiency and energy conservation in our 250,000 sq. ft. in Xi’an, China, NSF-GMP-certified manufacturing facility, we are constantly updating both our equipment and production system,” said Chris Oesterheld, assistant vice president at Jiaherb.

The company said the manufacturing facilities house more than 400 employees and has an extraction capacity of more than 500 botanicals per year. In addition, the facility includes 42,000 sq. ft. of production space, a 5,400 sq. ft. CNAS-certified in-house laboratory, a 50,000 sq. ft. raw material warehouse, and a 10,800 sq. ft. research and development center.

According to the company, the state-of-the-art facility is certified NSF-GMP, ISO9001, ISO14001 and HACCP/ISO22000; the company also offers Star-K Kosher and AHF-Halal certifications.

The new website,  www.JIAHERBinc.com, highlights the company's proprietary herbal extracts and natural ingredients, in addition to featuring the new manufacturing facilities and research and development center.
