SANTA FE SPRINGS, Calif.—DNP International announced its sales are up 54 percent for the year, following the completion of the third quarter. According to the company, quality control efforts, inventory availability and accounting practices have all positively affected the financials. For example, DNP added an in-house laboratory in its Shanghai office, allowing the company to test for mesh size and bulk density prior to shipping ingredients to the United States; it will begin testing for heavy metals and microbiology in Shanghai by the end of 2011. Further, DNP has more than 100 Chinese partner manufacturers, allowing it to fill orders promptly, and its accounting department has a CPA on staff to oversee the company's cash flow and finance strategies.

President David Ji said, “Our aim is not only to maintain our position as the number one importer and distributor, but also to set for ourselves the highest standards and become the most trustworthy and responsible source for raw materials in our industry."

In early July, DNP reported its sales increased 26 percent from January to June 2011. According to the company, it posted its largest increase in sales in June—a 54 percent increase, with five out of six months in the first half of the year showing a rise in sales.
