LAVAL, Québec—Omnikrill, a product that contains 100% Pure NKO® from Neptune Technologies & Bioressources Inc., was named the Product of the Year by Health food store retailers in Denmark. Biosym, which markets Omnikrill, is a client of Neptune and won the award during the largest health fair in Denmark (Helsam A/S) on Sept. 17.
The retailers, who voted anonymously, described Omnikrill as innovative and ground-breaking, having supreme quality, exerting beneficial effect, being eco friendly and possessing the highest content of active ingredients .
Omnikrill was first introduced to the Danish market in 2009, and following its success, the company decided to introduce it in Sweden in 2011.
