MIGDAL HAEMEQ, Israel—Enzymotec Ltd. received Frost & Sullivan’s “2011 Global Phosphatidylserine Customer Value Enhancement Award" for implementing strategies that proactively create value for its customers.

Poshpatidylserine (PS) is a natural nutrient found in the cell membrane and particularly abundant in the brain. PS is the only ingredient that has been granted with a qualified health claim by the FDA, related to cognitive dysfunction and dementia in the elderly. Earlier this month, Sharp PS®, a soy-PS ingredient from Enzymotec, received novel food approval from the European Commission (EC), which allows the marketing and use of Sharp PS in a wide selection of foods and beverages in Europe.
