BacoMind Receives Australian Patent

BANGALORE, India—Natural Remedies Pvt. Ltd. announced it received an Australian patent (No. 2007257480) covering BacoMind®, the company’s specialized extract of Bacopa monnieri. The trademarked ingredient has been studied for its ability to promote attention and memory in elders and enhance learning performance in children. According to Amit Agarwal, director of research, Natural Remedies, the ingredient’s efficacy and safety have been substantiated in many published clinical trials. Agarwal added TIFAC, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India, have partially funded the research and commercial scale-up of this standardized ingredient.
