TUSTIN, Calif.—Vita-Tech International Inc. donated 3.5 tons of multivitamin tablets to Le Groupe Lyceum (The Lyceum Group) for distribution to underserved populations in Guinea, West Africa. The Fredericton, New Brunswick-based non-governmental organization (NGO) will work with the University of California-Irvine’s Africa Initiative to distribute the products.

“Nutritional empowerment is one of the most effective ways to give people hope for a better future," said Thomas T. Tierney, president, Vita-Tech. “We want to make a difference, and we are proud to act on our obligation to look after one another on the planet."

Vita-Tech, a contract manufacturer and private label producer of dietary supplements and nutraceuticals, made a similar donation last year.
