MORRISTOWN, N.J.— XSTO Solutions released a statement that it has always tested and will continue to test every lot of its high concentrate fish oil to standards beyond the No Significant Risk Levels (NSRL) detailed in California’s Proposition 65. In addition to standard testing, each lot is tested at an independent laboratory for 187 discrete pesticides/fungicides, 17 separate dioxins, 17 unique hydrocarbons and 11 different PCBs.
“XSTO’s experience in preparing manufacturers for rigorous quality assurance testing pays off when the entire industry is challenged as we have recently seen,” said Francis Foley, president. “As a raw material supplier, XSTO and our manufacturing partner Brudy Technology have chosen to bear an extraordinary and significant expense of testing for possible contaminants.”
Added Dan Murray, vice president, “With a significant position on high concentrate omegas, we want our customers to know we are taking every precaution to ensure XSTO products are beyond question in terms of safety. We believe the safety of the consumer and the reputation of our customers is worth this additional vigilance.”
