EDISON, N.J.—Carotech has been granted GRAS status for its Tocomin®/Tocomin® SupraBio™ natural full spectrum palm tocotrienol complex for use in food and beverage applications.
Clinical studies using Tocomin natural palm tocotrienol complex have revealed its beneficial effects in anti-aging, scar healing and anti-wrinkling. Tocomin SupraBio also is being used in a large phase II clinical trial for its effects in neuro- and cardioprotection.
