LOWER NEWTON FALLS, Mass.— Sherbrooke Capital announced the winners of its second annual Entrepreneurship Awards, which were held in Anaheim, Calif., during Natural Products Expo West. Awards were granted in two categories—under $5M in sales and over $5M in sales—to companies demonstrating excellence in innovation through product development, branding and positioning, or sales strategy.
The winners in the under-$5 million category were Clementine Art, a Boulder, Colo.-based marketer of natural, environmentally friendly children’s art supplies; and Red’s All Natural, Fairfield, Conn., a marketer of frozen burritos made with antibiotic- and hormone-free meats, and natural and organic ingredients. Both companies received complimentary one-year subscriptions to SPINS data.
In the over-$5 million category, Sahale Snacks, Seattle, received the award and access to Affinnova’s optimization technology, which can be used for anything from concept development to advertising messaging and design. Sahale makes different product lines including nut blends and glazed nuts, featuring unique flavor and ingredient combinations.
