Muscle Strength Linked to Antioxidants

NEW YORK— Researchers reported at the Gerontological Society of America's annual meeting, dietary intake of vitamin C and E was tied to muscle strength. The researchers concluded a high-antioxidant diet could help preserve muscle function in older adults. More than 2,000 men and women in their 70s were asked about their long-term eating habits and their grip strength was measured a the onset and two years later.
