BOSTON—The 14th Annual Socially Responsible Business Awards (SRBA) were presented Oct. 16, during a breakfast event held in conjunction with Natural Products Expo East at the Boston Convention Center. The awards were presented to:
- Ahmed Rahim, CEO & Co-Founder, Numi LLC
- Heather Lieder, Marketing Director, Pangea Organics
- Joar Opheim, CEO, Nordic Naturals
The Socially Responsible Business Awards are given to companies that have demonstrated excellence in integrating social responsibility in multiple aspects of their businesses. The nominees are judged in six categories: Community Involvement, Education, Health, Employee Empowerment, Environment, and Sourcing by an independent panel of judges.
