Third EU Food Supplement Workshop Scheduled

Food supplement companies looking for strategic solutions for launching food supplements across Europe can attend at a one-day intensive workshop hosted by the international food and nutrition policy consultancy EAS. The workshop, which is being held for the third time this year due to its popularity, is titled "Building a Regulatory Strategy for Marketing Food Supplements in Europe: The key steps to a successful product launch," and will take place on Oct. 9 in Brussels.

The workshop will cover recent regulatory developments in the European Union (EU), including herbal ingredients, maximum levels for vitamins and minerals, implications and potential interpretations of the proposed EU Novel Foods Regulation, and information on health claims. As a bonus, the workshop will close with a 45-minute session on the different rules and regulations for accessing the food supplement market in Asia, presented by the Singapore-based EAS Asia.
