Tate & Lyle Readies for Vitafoods

LONDON— Tate & Lyle’s (TateandLyle.com) European food ingredients team will promote their new PROMITOR™ fibers, including the Soluble Gluco Fiber and the Resistant Starch, an important part of Tate & Lyle’s ENRICH™ Obesity and Weight Management service, at the 11th Vitafoods International event in Geneva, Switzerland, from May 6 to 7, 2008. 

The booth will offer products made with  PROMITOR™ fiber. Prototypes include a chocolate chip cookie; a hot chocolate evening drink; a flavored water with fiber; and a flavored water with fiber and protein.

Tate & Lyle will also sample a dip containing PinnoThin™ from Lipid Nutrition— a natural pine nut oil that has been purported to help curb the desire to eat by promoting a feeling of satiety and helping to reduce the excessive consumption of calories.
