SRBA Accepting Award Nominations

BOSTON—The 14th annual Socially Responsible Business Awards (SRBA) will be held on Friday, Oct. 10, at the Boston Convention Center during Natural Products Expo East. The breakfast event will also feature an interview-style discussion with internationally known social entrepreneur and Clif Bar founder Gary Erickson; the event is free to all industry members and features food and beverages donated by event sponsors. Golden Temple Bakery, manufacturer of Peace Cereals, and the Yogi Tea Co. serve as main sponsors of the event.

Nominations for award recipients will be accepted starting June 1 and must be submitted by Aug. 31. Information on nomination criteria, applications and sponsorship information is available online. SRBA recipients have demonstrated excellence in integrating social responsibility in multiple aspects of their businesses, and are judged in six categories: Community Involvement, Education, Health, Employee Empowerment, Environment, and Sourcing.
