Lonza Announces U.S. Authorized Distributors

ALLENDALE, N.J.—Lonza appointed Seltzer Ingredients and Pharmachem Laboratories Inc. as its authorized U.S. distributors for its nutritional ingredient Carnipure™. Carnipure is the Lonza brand name for its L-carnitine product line, including its Carnipure tartrate (U.S. Patent No. 5,073,376, and other international patents). The appointments are part of a continuous performance improvement process in an effort to provide Lonza customers with the best supply and technical support possible in regions served by the network of authorized distributors.

Seltzer Ingredients, Carlsbad, Calif., provides the food, beverage, dietary supplement and personal care industries with high quality vitamins, amino acids, colors and specialty nutritional ingredients. Seltzer will service the Western Region nutritional market, complementing Lonza’s sales and marketing efforts.

Pharmachem Laboratories, Kearny, N.J., is a developer and supplier of high quality, nutritional ingredients, including vitamins, minerals and botanicals. Pharmachem will service the Eastern Region nutrition market, supporting Lonza’s efforts in the territory.

These appointments will also allow Lonza to reduce shipping time and provide regional technical support complimenting the service provided from Lonza’s main office in New Jersey.
