Decas Cranberry Products Embarks on Wind for Energy Initiative

CARVER, Mass.—Decas Cranberry Products (DecasCranberry.com) announced its plans to harness the power of the wind for energy, reducing the business’ greenhouse gas emissions. The company is embarking on a one-year feasibility study to determine whether wind is a sustainable source of power for its Massachusetts operation. The feasibility study is funded in part by a grant from the Massachusetts Technology Collaborative. Lighthouse Electrical contracting will install the 1.65 MW wind turbine this month.
