OSLO, Norway—Aker BioMarine™, an integrated biotech company, developed a dietary supplement containing 100-percent pure krill oil and signed several distribution agreements to prepare for 2008 product launches. The company conducts sustainable krill harvesting in the Antarctic, using proprietary technology for continuous processing of fresh krill. The company recently signed an agreement with Quincy, Mass.-based Jedwards International Inc. for distribution of Aker’s Krill Oil in the United States. In addition, Aker (www.AkerBioMarine.com) signed an agreement with Life Europe AB to distribute the krill oil product to health food stores in the Nordic countries.
