OTTAWA, Ontario--Aloe Vera Group, a Copenhagen, Denmark-based manufacturer of Aloe vera products including an aloe juice drink and cosmetic line, was granted a Natural Products Number (NPN) by Canadian Health Authorities, which allows the company to make label claims that their aloe gel product is effective for treating sunburn, minor burns and cuts, and to assist in wound healing.
“We strive to make the best, the cleanest line—only organic Aloe vera, no parabens, no perfumes, no petrolatum,” said Jesper Hummeluhr, owner, Aloe Vera Group. “It’s not just offering an aloe product, it’s having a product that is truly safe, effective and doesn’t harm the environment.”
In addition to the Canadian NPN, the company has earned approval in European markets, including the Nordic Swan Mark, the Scandinavian eco-label, and medical grade GMP certification and approval by Danish Health Authorities.
All of the Aloe Vera Group’s products utilize 50 to 99.5 percent of Aloecorp’s ACTIValoe® Aloe vera gel, which is guaranteed to contain at least 10 percent polysaccharides.
