Sabinsa Corp. was founded in 1988 as a manufacturer and marketer of phytonutrients, Ayurvedic herbal extracts and specialty fine chemicals for the nutritional, pharmaceutical and food industries. Its contract manufacturing facility, based in Payson, UT, is 42,000 square feet, and offers a range of capabilities including milling, stick packs, tableting and more.

The facility is compliant with FDA cGMPs (current good manufacturing practices) for dietary supplements, and was recently audited and International Food Standard (IFS) certified by Det Norske Veritas (DNV), showing compliance with global standards for food safety. As customers are invited to tour its production operation, Natural Products INSIDER took a trip to Utah to get a behind the scenes look at the facility.
