Calling All Boston Red Sox Fans
We’re in the dog days of summer in the baseball season and the jury is still out as to whether the boys form Beantown will sneak into the playoffs in October. One of their leaders and big boppers, Kevin Youkilis or “Youk" as he is affectionately called by Boston Red Sox, is out for the season due to injury. But you can still get your taste of Youkilis in San Francisco.
Scott Youkilis, Kevin’s brother, recently opened his second restaurant in San Francisco, called Hog & Rocks in the Mission District. If you like country ham, oysters, dips, patty melts and chopped salads this is the place. By the way, the Youk also owns Maverick on Potrero Hill.
