Stay Thirsty My Friends
The Florida freeze has prompted Tropicana to raise the price of vitamin C. They’re passing along higher orange prices caused by the recent Florida freezes by increasing prices on some orange-juice containers and decreasing the size of others. The PepsiCo division will raise by 5 percent to 8 percent the cost of gallon-size Pure Premium containers, and decrease the jug size to 59 ounces instead of 64 while keeping that price the same. Most consumers won’t even notice the change in packaging. So next time you’re at a reception with a hosted bar, in the Red Carpet Room, or flying to your next destination, be sure to get your money’s worth of complimentary orange juice. I just did, at an Expo West event.
