BGG Hires VP Business Development

BGG North America Inc. named Joseph Chiang as VP of business development. Chiang will manage the development of new strategic products and leverage his international business experience to help bridge the gap between Asian, European and North American markets. Joseph comes to BGG from Nutrilite where he served as global sourcing manager for more than six years and managed the global spend strategy for worldwide affiliates in the areas of vitamins,, softgels, botanicals and other commodities. Chiang led multiple strategic sourcing teams (SSTs), developing global sourcing strategies, implementing risk management and supply chain contingency plans, as well as spearheaded numerous improvement projects such as Nutrilite OpX, Supply Chain Excellence and Supplier Scorecard programs. Additionally, his extensive knowledge of six languages allowed him to effectively communicate and build relationships with Nutrilite affiliates, vendors, trade associations, government offices and customers worldwide.  He also served as the past Chairman of DCAT Nutrition and Health Forum.
