Over the years, I’ve written a ton of articles on various health conditions, and one familiar thread in many of those articles is the role inflammation plays in the development and progression of many conditions and diseases.  Oxidative stress may dominate the stealthy, back alley network of pathological triggers, but inflammation can be directly involved in the pain Just as there was a gold rush of nutritional and botanical ingredients touted for antioxidant properties—‘ potential’ might be the better word—there has been a flood of ingredients in recent years promoted for anti-inflammatory effects.

From omega-3 fatty acids to botanicals, there are many anti-inflammatory ingredients available to formulators and product developers. For those interested in developing novel fortified food and beverage products targeted at reducing or managing inflammation, I’ve got a great resource for you.

On Sept. 28 at 2 pm Eastern, check out our latest webinar, “Inflammation and Nutrition: Opportunities for a Growing Market.” Sponsored by Fortitech and hosted by INSIDER, this webinar will feature Ram Chaudhari, Ph.D., FACN, CNS, Sr. executive VP, chief scientific cfficer and co-founder, Fortitech, who will talk to attendees about specific anti-inflammatory nutrients and bioactive components and formulation challenges and solutions. Those tuning in will also receive an overview of custom nutrient premix prototypes developed for specific product applications.  Dr. Chaudhari is very active in the industry and has an extensive background in food science, agriculture and quality control.

These webinars hosted by INSIDER feature Q&A sessions at the end of the presentation(s), so you can not only take in all the inflammation info Dr. Chaudhari provides, but also get some questions asked on pertinent issues related to your interests in the topic.
