With the country amidst debate on the historic health care reform bill currently ping-ponging around Congress, have you wondered how the bill, if the bill addresses dietary supplements and herbal products? Well, AHPA President Michael McGuffin came to the rescue, taking this bill by the horns and finding its impact on our industry members. In an open letter posted on the AHPA Web site, McGuffin summarizes several parts of the Senate-passed version and explains h ow they relate to supplements, especially herbal products.
