RICHMOND, Calif.—Ogawa & Co. developed a lineup of peppermint extract products that contain high amounts of mint polyphenols. They are available in water-soluble liquid and powder forms and are GMO-free. The extracts are highly stable and have minimal taste impact, since much of the mint aroma has been removed by purification, which make it easily applicable in a variety of products such as beverages, confectionery and supplements. In addition, a new mint polyphenol product, deodorized by one-third, will soon be added to the lineup to further expand application possibilities.
