BASEL, Switzerland—A new form of oily vitamin A that is GMO- and allergen-free was launched by DSM Nutritional Products, a worldwide provider of nutritional and pharma ingredients. The vitamin A form uses medium chain triglycerides (MCT) as a carrier, which eliminates the potential for genetically modified organisms and allergic reactions related to peanut oil. The vitamin form can be used in the food, supplement and personal care industries.
