NSF: Red Bull OK for Sport

ANN ARBOR, Mich.--NSF International (www.nsf.org) announced Santa Monica, Calif.-based Red Bull® Energy Drink completed all requirements for the NSF Athletic Banned Substances Certification Program (NSF Certified for Sport™), making it the first company to meet those standards. Red Bull Energy Drink and Red Bull Sugar Free underwent a formulation and label review, toxicology review and lab analysis for label contents and banned substances, and the corporate facility was inspected for adherence to cGMPs (good manufacturing practices).
