EILOT, Israel--Algatechnologies expanded its AstaPure line of astaxanthin with gelatin-free 2-percent microencapsulated astaxanthin beadlets for tablets or hard shell capsules. The new product is all natural, free of animal products, has high microbiology counts, and is Kosher and GMO (genetically modified organism)-free. In addition, astaxanthin used in the product is extracted through a supercritical CO2 technique, embedded in a matrix of alginate.
