CHANNAHON, Ill.—Jennifer Causey, Ph.D., nutrition manager at Lipid Nutrition, will present new information regarding PinnoThin, the company’s new appetite suppressant ingredient. PinnoThin is derived from the Korean pine nut tree (Pinus koraiensis) and contains pinolenic acid, which suppresses the appetite by stimulating the release of the appetite-controlling hormone CCK (cholecystokinin).
