SPB Celebrates 10th Anniversary

NAPLES, Fla.Saw Palmetto Berries Co-op of Florida Inc. (SPB) is celebrating 10 years in the natural products industry, supplying its trademarked, proprietary, premium CO2 liquid saw palmetto extract. The company recently broke ground on a 10,500-square-foot, state-ofthe- art extraction facility here, which will permit the company to handle its own CO2 extraction using 3/200 liter processing. SPB also is a new member of the American Botanical Council (ABC).

We are lean and mean at controlling our costs and overhead and can meet any customers needs, said Greg Zaino, SPB president. Our company motto is, No customer is too small or too big. In addition to its liquid extract, SPB also supplies berries (11 percent to 14 percent), natural powders (11 to 14 percent) and spray dried extract (25 percent to 55 percent). Its farm is certified organic and its liquid extract is available kosher certified, as well. SPB contracts by the year with the majority of its clients, allowing them to take advantage of fresh, quality products and fair pricing.
