Designed Nutritional Products Now ISO 9001

OREM, Utah--Designed Nutritional Products recently achieved ISO 9001:2000 registration. The company worked with AXEON Inc. in Roy, Utah, to achieve ISO registration. "It's refreshing to finally have a system that places accountability where it belongs," said David Parish, president of Designed Nutritional Products (www.designednutritional.com). "ISO gives individuals the tools to measure how their actions impact a business. This has helped create a better work environment where people have a voice and meaningful authority within their department."

According to Parish, the company sought ISO registration to increase efficiencies within the business, including establishing accountability and minimizing down time. "There is growing emphasis on quality systems within our industry," he said. "Customers and prospects have a higher degree of confidence in organizations willing to adhere to this international standard."
