Polyphenolics Completes Self-Affirmation GRAS Process

MADERA, Calif.--Polyphenolics Inc. (www.polyphenolics.com) completed self-affirmation of Generally Recognized As Safe (GRAS) status for its MegaNatural Gold Grape Seed Extract and MegaNatural GSKE Grape Skin Extract. "The GRAS determination now extends the permitted uses for the products beyond the nutraceutical arena and into the mass-market beverage segment," said Anil Shrikhande, president.
