PARA, Brazil—EarthFruits (EarthFruits.com) has begun to export cupuaçu. A cousin to the cacao tree, cupuaçu is often referred to as the “pharmacy in a fruit”. The company stated cupuaçu is rich in antioxidants to fight free radicals. EarthFruits is exporting cupuaçu in both a powder and frozen purée; the company also exports fruits such as açaí and camu camu into Europe and the United States.
