EUSTIS, Fla.U.S. Nutra (www.usnutra.com) introduced two new oil-based proprietary ingredients derived from cranberry seeds: CRANBEROL CSO cranberry seed oil and CRANBEROLEDB emollient dry base. CRANBEROL CSO contains 70 to 80 percent plant-derived omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids in an optimal 1-to-1 ratio, high levels of natural tocopherols, phytosterols and the highest concentration of tocotrienols among the botanical oils. The ingredient has diverse applications for skincare, dietary supplement and functional food formulators. CRANBEROL EDB is a water-miscible powder containing nearly 50 percent cranberry seed oil. The ingredient is suitable for cosmetic, hair care and skin formulations.
