Kamil President
BOHEMIA, N.Y.--NBTY Inc. appointed Harvey Kamil as president of
NBTY. Scott Rudolph will continue to serve as chairman and chief executive officer. Kamil has been executive vice president and chief financial officer (CFO) since joining NBTY (www.nbty.com) in 1982, and he will continue to serve as CFO. He currently serves on the board of directors of the Council for Responsible Nutrition
(CRN) and the National Nutritional Foods Association (NNFA).
"As the company has grown, we have broadened our management team," Rudolph said. "Harvey's knowledge of NBTY and the nutritional supplement industry will continue to provide us with the momentum to deliver on our key objectives."
