—The Pentapharm® alfoil® PVdC-coated polymer film product line from Klöckner Pentaplast (www.kpfilms.com) now includes Pentapharm alfoil E S03 films for pharmaceutical and nutraceutical products requiring high-moisture and oxygen barrier performance. The new films have a proprietary three-layer symmetrical structure and exhibit excellent thermoforming properties, mechanical stability, clarity (for transparent blisters), and high crystallinity PVdC dispersion. The films are sealable to all standard vinyl l-compatible lidstocks and are available in transparent, clear and opaque colors; they are also compliant with Food and Drug Administration (FDA) requirements for use in pharmaceutical packaging.
