Charkit Relocates

NORWALK, Conn.— Charkit Chemical Corp. relocated its headquarters from Darien, Conn., to Norwalk. The company will initially settle in 12,600 square feet of the available 21,000, leaving room to expand over the next five years, with plans to increase management and support staffing. The relocation and investment in the prime office space property coincides with Charkit’s 25th anniversary, which has also seen the launch of a new advertising campaign and redesigned Web site. “The relocation is a direct response to the continuing growth we have experienced and reflects our determination to meet the requirements of an increasing roster of customers in the personal care, pharmaceutical, flavor and fragrance industries,” said Charles Hinnant, president.
