Effect of Astaxanthin on Hypertension

MOUNT LAUREL, N.J.— Eiji Yamashita, Ph.D., global research and development Manager at Fuji Chemical Industry Co. Ltd., will present multiple studies supporting the role of astaxanthin in managing hypertension. The studies presented include blood pressure reduction, vaso-relaxation, delayed incidence of stroke and human blood fluidity.Yamashita will also address the mechanism of action for the studied effects in protecting the blood vessel.
