Dingell Eyes DSHEA in New Congress

WASHINGTON —In the short wake of the Democrat’s Congressional election victories, supplement industry foe Rep. John D. Dingell (D-Mich.) offered up his list of goals for his powerful Energy and Commerce Committee, including regulating dietary supplements and examining drug-safety procedures at the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). “We’ll kill the closest snake first,” he told the Washington Post.
